Apartments with a view over the Alps

By the end of 2012 the less well known resort of Valmorel within the Grand Domaine region of the French Alps will be home to a brand new development of leaseback apartments courtesy of MGM.

The French property developer is due to start building the dwellings in the spring and they will be included in a new residence de tourisme - Le Grange aux Fees - and will be sited close to the chairlift giving easy access to the slopes.

There will be 86 apartments of varying sizes from self contained studio apartments right up to four bedroom duplexes and prices start at around £180,000. Prices exclude VAT as leaseback properties are not subject to the tax under French property laws.

The unit price also includes parking and underground storage facilities, a laundry and various drying rooms. Other facilities on offer include a beauty centre with a selection of treatments available, indoor pool, Jacuzzi, steam rooms, sauna, gym and fitness suite.
