Bel Air property sale breaks 2010 record
The company that handled the sale of a multi million mansion in Bel Air, California claims the deal has broken the record for the most expensive home sale across the USA real estate market for 2010.
Originally placed on the market at the beginning of last year for $85 million with very little interest from potential buyers the price was reduced to $72 million. The actual sale price has not been publicized but the company completing the sale on behalf of the owner, Mohamed Hadid, Property Developer, maintains the sale sets a price record for this year.
As the previous record for 2010 stands at $47 million for a ranch in Colorado this luxury property could have cost the new owners, a European family, anywhere between that figure and the discounted list price of $72 million.
