Buyers roam Italian property market
Figures last month indicate a real growing interest in Italian real estate, according to the Prime Location International Search index.
Some may put the activity down to raised interest following a relatively successful tourist summer in the country, with potential investors inspired by their holiday experience.
The country has much to offer, with the coastal appeal of areas such as Tuscany, the fashion of Milan, or the culture of Rome.
Real estate in Italy appears to be weathering the global storm better than most and probably due to the fact that the market there didn’t experience the boom of 2007, making any fall far softer.
According to a spokesman from the Index, the overall long term trend of foreign investment & interest in Italian properties is a growing one, and is a clear sign of encouragement for the country.
For the prospective investor, property in Italy would seem to represent not only good value for money, but greater stability for the risk averse.
