London's mega million pads

London property prices are known to be the most expensive throughout the UK property market and this week saw the official opening of an apartment complex that is valued at hundreds of millions.

Thought to be the most expensive housing across the globe the development sited in the heart of London's prime property market in Knightsbridge has a total of 86 apartments.

Only the wealthiest members of society are likely to be tempted by the luxurious flats on offer as prices start at £6.5m for a one bedroom unit and climb to £140m for one of the sumptuous penthouses. According to property experts the development is thought to be the most expensive residential accommodation in the world.

The launch was attended by city bossess alongside investors and celebrities from the world of sport and the music industry including Gary Lineker and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
