More visitors tempted by Spanish properties

The continuous sunshine filled days are attracting record numbers of holidaymakers to the Spanish coast this year and local agents are kept busy with visitors interested in buying a property in Spain.
According to official figures supplied by the tourism industry during the first five months of 2012 more than 19 million foreign holidaymakers arrived in Spain to enjoy the numerous delights on offer throughout the country including the fabulous weather conditions.
The rise in international visitors is a welcome boost to the ailing Spanish economy – spending more than 17.5 million euros during January and May – an increase of almost 5 per cent on the same period a year ago. British holidaymakers are recorded as the top spenders closely followed by German visitors.
As a result of the increase in holidaymakers real estate sales are on the rise - one major developer of Property in Spain – Taylor Wimpey Espana have seen a 5 per cent increase in unit sales for the first half of 2012 when compared to the same time last year.
