New owners for tallest house Down Under

After two years on the open market a buyer has finally been found for the tallest Australian property in the private residential sector.
Developed in 2002, Girvan Estate – a 10 level residence that could be mistaken for a block of flats was built by Peter Grey in a countryside location close to Newcastle.
Mr Grey’s fascination with high-rise buildings led to the unique six bedroom property which included a large indoor swimming pool on the ground floor and each of the bedrooms is on a separate floor with its own bathroom and lounge. A lift reaches the eighth floor – which is used as an office with stairs leading up to the ninth level with water pumping room and observation deck and the top storey at 30 metres high offers fantastic 360 degree views and is complete with a spa bath.
Mr & Mrs Grey and their four children will be sad to leave the unique Australian property but are sure the new buyers – a local family will enjoy all the delights that this unique property has to offer.
