Paramount property boost in Spain

Paramount property boost in Spain Experts agree that the Spanish property market will take years to recover but some regions are beginning to show signs of improvement. One area that is becoming increasingly popular with foreign investors is the Murcia region. Local real estate agents have seen a huge increase in the amount of overseas property investors looking to buy a holiday home in the sun in the last six months. Two main developments have been instrumental in the upsurge of interest in property in and around Murcia – firstly the arrival of the Paramount theme Park – billed as the second biggest in Europe set to begin construction later in the year and expected to be open for business in 2015 plus the new Corvera International Airport due to open in October. Thousands of jobs will be created during the construction phase and the scope for holiday rentals will be massive and with current property prices running at their lowest for a decade it’s no wonder that this region of the Spanish property market is bucking the national trend.
