Paris still attracting British buyers
Paris, the city of romance continues to be a major contender for UK property owners hoping to invest abroad.
More than 135,000 British subjects now reside in France full time and of that figure a high percentage have invested in the French property market. The figures supplied by the country's statistic office INSEE show that more than 20,000 Brits live in Paris and the surrounding districts.
The British continue its love affair with the French capital famous for its array of art galleries and museums, fashion houses and famed restaurants and bars and the diverse culture throughout the city.
While property in the centre of Paris is costly there are bargains still to be had for those prepared to live more on the outskirts and still have access to the bustling metropolis via the tremendous public transport system.
A trip back to the UK can be achieved within just a couple of hours using one of the many travel links on offer by air, sea or tunnel.
