People staying in property in Bulgaria 'should wise up'
People planning to move to property in Bulgaria
should ensure they have a decent knowledge of local customs, a sector specialist asserts.
Travel expert Bob Atkinson, from travelsupermarket.com, says people staying in property in Bulgaria should always be aware of what traditions there are in the area to ensure they fit in.
"Make sure you don't fall foul of anything. You have to be sensitive to the locale," the specialist explains.
Mr Atkinson reminds people travelling to stay in property in Bulgaria that they are doing so for the "right reasons", which is in order to enjoy the time they spend in the country, and suggests that the visit can be made even better by studying the particular area before they journey.
The expert's comments come after travelsupermarket.com released a report which reveals that 33 per cent of Brits staying in accommodation overseas are more likely to take risks on holidays abroad and do things that they would not do at home.
