Real estate recovery real deal in US
Recovery is well under way according to the USA real estate professionals following the results of a countrywide survey.
When asked for their thoughts on the direction of residential property prices 80 per cent of agents believe that house prices will fall no further than current levels and more than two thirds expect prices to increase.
The majority of USA real estate agents believe the demand for residential property has sparked new life into the property markets across the US – the highest demand falls in the lower priced categories followed by mid-priced homes.
Looking at the type of buyers coming market agents note that roughly a third are first time buyers, around a third are existing home owners looking to either downsize or move to a larger property and the remainder are generally residential real estate investors looking to capitalise on the recovering markets.
Price negotiation is still a high priority among most potential buyers and home owners prepared to move on price are having great success.
