Retirees rediscover the sunshine state
Not too far in the distant past Florida, the sunshine state, was considered to be one of the best places to live in the US but also one of the most expensive. In today's market it is now much more affordable.
USA real estate prices have fallen dramatically during the last few years and in some parts of Florida residential and commercial property prices have fallen by almost 50 per cent. The results of a survey, produced by a relocation company, show that in 55 cities across America Orlando topped the table as the cheapest in which to run a business.
The amount of cut price properties now available along with the fantastic weather and lifestyle opportunities is once again attracting the retirement sector keen to live out their lives in a warmer climate and in an environment that will see their hard-earned dollars go that little bit further.
