SA real estate tempts African investors

In the past when the world's economies were booming luxury property in South Africa attracted investors from both European countries and the USA in the main but in todays' climate speculators are more likely to hail closer to home.

Agents working in the South Africa real estate business are seeing an increase in enquiries from other parts of Africa such as Nigeria, Ghana, Uganda and Angola countries that are seeing greater economic growth rates than many parts of Europe and the USA. Cash rich executives from these regions are looking to South Africa to buy a top notch property as both a holiday getaway and with the capacity to earn income on the holiday let circuit.

Preparations for the World Cup competition, held in June, has left the country with improved infrastructure and travel links and amenities and sports fans from around the world were impressed with the lifestyle and climate that the country provides and this say agents will increase foreign investment in the country's property markets.
