Spanish house prices still falling

Spanish house prices still falling Spanish property has for many years been high on the list for UK property investors looking for a place in the sun, but according to various reports the number of British buyers currently looking to buy a property in Spain is in decline. Many industry specialists agree that house prices across the country are yet to hit bottom as the Euro crisis continues to threaten to wreak havoc across Europe and beyond. While the numbers of British investors appear to be on the wane there is increased interest among Swedish investors. Several leading Spanish property agents say that Swedes are their biggest buyers so far in 2012 probably encouraged by the strong exchange rate and the glut of properties available at discounted prices. It seems canny British investors are holding back at the moment and waiting for another wave of price cuts before they commit to buying their dream holiday home in the sun
