Spanish property prices prove hard to resist

Despite ongoing financial woes covering a large part of Europe Spanish estate agents reports a successful summer selling season due in a great part to overseas holiday home buyers.

In the past UK property owners have figured high in the number of foreigners visiting Spain to buy a home in the sun but this year has seen a drop in the amount of British buyers instead Scandinavian buyers have increased greatly coming from Sweden, Norway also French property owners have shown great interest in the Spanish property market this year.

Value for money is key with most holiday home buyers and one area where this is certain is the district of Murcia - property prices here are way below the national average and are expected to greatly appreciate within the next few years as the Paramount theme Park becomes a reality.
