Spanish theme park one step closer

Spanish property experts welcome the news of the latest development in the Paramount theme park extravaganza planned for the Murcia district of Southern Spain.

Contracts have now been signed to complete the sale of land for the construction of what is expected to be a massive boost for the local tourist industry and residential property markets.

Local agents believe the arrival of the long awaited theme park will totally transform the ailing Spanish property sector in their region. Savvy investors will be queuing up to participate in the first phase of the massive leisure complex that is expected to attract millions of visitors each year.

Estimates suggest the planned development will create more than 20,000 jobs during construction and once complete will provide hundreds of permanent operational positions within the complex – the first phase of which is expected to be ready to open in the summer of 2015.
