Those staying in property in Bulgaria 'should be prepared'

People planning on taking a trip to stay in property in
Bulgaria are being advised to ensure they are properly prepared before they set off.
Taking out travel insurance cover is an important part of any trip to a foreign location, as it covers the person or family against the loss of luggage, a common problem in today's world of international travel, says Rachel Croft, head of Post Office travel insurance.
According to the specialist, many people planning a trip to stay in property in Bulgaria may feel like travel insurance is an unnecessary expense on top of the cost of flights, but failure to do so may put them at both personal and financial risk.
"It is estimated that three million bags were lost in the EU last year and a million of those were never returned to their rightful owners," she explained.
A recent survey by the organisation showed that 13 per cent of
UK travellers have also experienced baggage delays when travelling to property in Bulgaria.
