Try before you buy Spanish property
The Spanish property market continues to battle against the economic environment occurring across most of Europe.
There are thousands of Spanish properties for sale across the mainland and the islands and with the economic outlook promising yet more gloom ahead residential property buyers are not so keen to commit despite the appeal of owning a home in the sun.
A leading Spanish property agent based on the island of Mallorca are promoting the rental opportunities for vendors who are keen to sell but who face a long wait before a buyer is found. Isabel Steinkamp, in charge of the rentals division of Mallorca Sotheby’s International Realty believes it is a great idea for anyone keen to invest in a property in Spain to rent the villa or apartment for a period and have a taste at the whole experience of living on the sunshine isle before they sign on the dotted line, it also gives the vendor a chance to earn a regular income while they wait for the market to recover.
