UK Property Market Showing Increases

The UK Property Market is stabilising according to a report by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a welcome piece of news for UK property investors.

Of those surveyed, respondents who reported price rises totalled 11% more than those reporting declines, the first increase since July 2007. London and the South of England show the broadest increases with 43 per cent more surveyors reporting gains within the capital, compared with those reporting declines.

Hometrack Ltd recently reported house prices had risen for the first time in two years in August and Nationwide Building Society also recently stated that house prices increased 1.6 percent, the fourth sequential monthly gain and the largest since 2006.
