UK housing market remains subdued
As predicted the UK property market is subdued countrywide with only London properties excluded according to the most recent survey from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Last month the number of surveyors reportin falling property prices was higher than those who noticed residential real estate prices rising. As a result of these findings the Institute declared the outlook for the housing market was flat.
While the future looks challenging there was a glimmer of hope as there appears to be an increase in new buyer enquiries which is an improvement from the past several months' level of activity.
However industry members continue to notice a lack of confidence throughout most regions of the property market in part due to impending spending cuts yet to really hit the economy.
London properties continue to buck the trend with most regions enjoying an increased level of buying activity.
