Booking

Payment

• Hotels, Guesthouses, B & B - In most cases payment is made when you checkout. The method of payment accepted varies but usually includes the major international credit cards
  
  
• Houses, Villas, Apartments, etc - As these are usually rented direct from the owner payment by credit card is not often available. Payment is almost always required prior to arrival. Options include cheque, bank transfer, PayPal, cash (by registered post) Western Union, etc

During Your Stay

• Hotels, Guesthouses, B & B - As these types of accommodation have staff on the premises you can direct any questions or problems you have during your stay to them
  
  
• Houses, Villas, Apartments, etc - Any of the issues you might experience in your own home (power failure, water leaks, equipment malfunction, etc) can occur in your vacation rental so you need to ensure you have contact details for the owners, or their agents. In many cases they will provide comprehensive information for dealing with most eventualities. Other information such as Police, Fire Service, Medical Assistance would be useful.
